Tesla company is facing tough times amid global slowdown in EV sales. “Buffett should take a position in Tesla. It’s an obvious move,” Elon Musk said in a post on X. Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway has a stake in Chinese EV maker BYD but not in Tesla.

Elon Musk invited Warren Buffett to invest in Tesla early on, when the company was worth less than 0.1 percent of what it is today, or $7 billion. Elon Musk is trying to reorganize Tesla. The electric car company had registered huge losses in the January-March quarter this year. The company’s net profit fell 55 percent to $1.13 billion from $2.51 billion in the year-ago quarter. Shares of electric car company Tesla (Tesla Share Price) were seen trading at $ 181.19 with a gain of 0.66 percent or $ 1.18 on Monday.
