Xiaomi has launched in china its Ningmei Rubik’s Cube 2nd-Gen miniPCa computer that has the size of a Rubik’s cube and that, despite its dimensions, ensures high performance to develop all activities with its Intel Celeron J4125 processor.
The technology company has expanded its product catalogue, specifically computers, making its Ningmei Rubik’s Cube 2nd-Gen miniPC available to users in YouPin the Xiaomi crowdfunding platform in China.
This device draws attention due to its dimensions, 62 x 62 x 44 mm, and for its lightness, since it weighs 145 grams. This is because the design of the computer is inspired by a Rubik’s Cubeso that it is a device compact and easy to transport anywhere.
Ningmei Rubik’s Cube 2nd-Gen is powered by the Intel Celeron J4125 processor of four core. Specifically, you can achieve a turbo frequency up to 2.7GHz and includes up to 8GB DDR4 RAM with an M.2 solid-state drive, ensuring efficient storage operation.
Thanks to all these features, Xiaomi ensures that the PC can start up in as little as ten seconds and that, in addition, supports read and write speeds of up to 500MB/s.
On the other hand, it also offers extensive connectivity options, since it adds a USB-C port, two USB 3.0 inputs, an HDMI port, another for a microSD card and a 3.5mm headphone port. It also includes a Gigabit Ethernet port for wired network connection.
To these options we must add their wireless alternatives. Ningmei Rubik’s Cube 2nd-Gen incorporates connectivity 2.4G and 5G dual band WiFialso has Bluetooth compatibility. With this, the PC allows connection with all kinds of wireless devices such as keyboards, mice, or speakersamong others, allowing it to be adapted and configured according to the user’s needs.
This mini computer has two versions available. On the one hand, the model 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memorypriced at 989 yuan (134 euro to change, approximately). On the other hand, the version of 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage for 1,199 yuan (about 163 euros to change).
