microsoft has announced a new update on Xbox which promises to suppress unwanted background noises in group voice chats, such as other members’ breathing and button clicking.
The Redmond company has introduced this function in the new version of the Xbox operating system, the 10.0.22621.1836as explained in a statement published on its website.
Microsoft has detailed that noise suppression allows the user who uses headphones to isolate himself even more during multiplayer sessions ‘online’. To do this, it will cancel out unwanted sounds, such as breathing, the buttons activated by the rest of the members of a group chat or any other background noise.
The technology company has already rolled out this new feature to Xbox Series S and X users. In addition, Microsoft has added that it is activated by default, but players have the option to deactivate it if they prefer.
GAMING IN THE CLOUD FROM CLIPS AND SCREENSHOTS
The new Xbox OS update has also added another new feature. In this case, it allows a user’s friends to join their game session from a PC or mobile device from a screenshot or clip.
This is made possible by Microsoft’s cloud gaming, Xbox CloudGamingwhich will run directly in the user’s browser when they click on a video clip or title screenshot that a friend has shared with them.
Microsoft has clarified that the enjoyment of some games in the cloud will require prior subscription to Xbox Game Pass Ultimatethe last step of your monthly service.
