The instant messaging app WhatsApp is developing a official channelwhich will be implemented within the platform itself for your Desktop version in betathrough which it will announce new features and news to users.
Until today it was known that the social network was working on an official communication channel within the betas for Android and iOS. Nevertheless, now this option is also in development for WhatsApp Desktopas collected by WaBetaInfo.
The function of this new verified channel is to offer users messages related to news, tips and information about new features that will be present in the application. Also, it will be a end-to-end encrypted chatas in the rest of the chats, so that nobody can intercept the messages.
