Vijay Sethupathi: Vijay Sethupathi did not like the call of anchor.. How can he not do so many films?

Kollywood star Vijay Sethupathi is appearing in the majority of films being made in the Pan India range from South Industry. Although he got recognition in Tollywood with the movie ‘Uppena’, he was introduced to the Telugu audience with the movie ‘Pizza’ before that. But now South heroes like Prabhas, NTR, Allu Arjun, Ram Charan, Dulquer Salmaan and Dhanush are being called Pan India stars. Similarly, Vijay Sethupathi also acted in films of all languages, regardless of South or North, and increased his fan following across the country. But he revealed in a recent interview that he does not like being addressed as ‘Pan India Star’.

Kollywood star Vijay Sethupathi will be seen in the Hindi web series ‘Farzi’ produced by Bollywood filmmakers Raj and DK. However, in a promotional interview related to this, he responded to the anchor calling Sethupathi a pan India actor. I am not comfortable with that pan India tag. Sometimes it puts pressure on us. I’m just an actor, I don’t need a label. I want to do a film in every language. If I get a chance, I will do a film in Bengali and Gujarati too’ he said.

Rashi Khanna also expressed her opinion on the same. All are actors first and none of them likes the word. She said it would be a kind of division. Formerly known as Bollywood, Tollywood and Kollywood. It became Costa North, South. Beyond that now they say Pan India. This divide is not necessary. Last year, Dulquer Salmaan also said that he does not like the term ‘pan India’. He said that word really annoys him and he doesn’t want to hear it.

Star actors like Shahid Kapoor, Raashi Khanna, Regina Cassandra, KK Menon, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Kubra Sait have acted in the ‘Farji’ web series. Shahid and Vijay are entering the digital platform through this crime thriller. While it will be streaming on Amazon Prime Video from February 10.
