MADRID, May 6. (EUROPE PRESS) –
UD Las Palmas beat Mirandés (1-0) at home this Friday at the start of matchday 39 of LaLiga SmartBank, thanks to a goal from Jonathan Viera, who puts the Canary Islanders two points away from promotion until it ends weekend.
The Canarian team knew how to suffer after settling in a match in which they did not have the punch or the possession to avoid so much suspense. The first half hour was a great local display led by Viera, who scored the goal after 15 minutes.
Camello missed a penalty for Mirandés but in the second half the visiting team continued with the conviction of being able to scratch something from Las Palmas. Las Palmas added its eighth game without losing and 61 points, two less than Oviedo and three than Girona.
