Ukraine denounces that 202 children have died and 360 have been injured since the beginning of the Russian invasion

Ukraine has denounced that 202 children have died and 361 have been injured in attacks carried out by Russia since the beginning of the invasion of the country until this Sunday.

Most of the child victims, counting deaths and injuries, have been recorded in the capital region, kyiv, with 121, followed by Donetsk, with 115, Kharkov (88), Chernigov (54), Mikolaiv (40), Kherson (41), Zaporizhia (22), Yitomir (15) and Sumy (16), according to data provided by the Juvenile Prosecutor’s Office from the country.

This organization has also denounced that 1,018 educational institutions have suffered material damage since the beginning of the invasion, 95 of which have been completely destroyed.

According to United Nations estimates, 1,982 civilians have been killed and 2,651 have been injured since the beginning of the war. Of them, 162 children have died and 256 have been injured, according to the UN balance until Friday.
