Latest news on the war between Russia and Ukraine
MADRID, Sep. 2 (.) –
The Ukrainian Armed Forces have admitted this Friday that they have bombed targets of Russian troops in the town of Energodar, where the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant is located.
In its daily count, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces has reported on Facebook “precise” attacks against enemy artillery systems and warehouses in the towns of Kherson and Energodar.
The Zaporizhia plant, the largest in Europe, has had the presence of experts from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) since Thursday who are trying to rule out risks in the area due to the escalation of fighting.
According to the Ukrainian forces, the Russian troops, who have controlled the plant since the beginning of March, removed all their military equipment from the facilities before the arrival of the foreign investigators.
