Twitter now allows you to view the ‘feed’ in a personalized way with the ‘For you’ and ‘Following’ tabs in iOS

MADRID, Jan. 11 (Portaltic/EP) –

Twitter has already implemented the changes in its ‘feed’ by default and has introduced two new tabs, ‘For you’ and ‘Following’, which are now available in the content preferences settings in devices with iOS operating system.

Twitter currently allows users to toggle between an algorithmic timeline and a configured or reverse chronology. This means that you can see either the most recent tweets as they are posted or the recommended starting ‘tweets’ for the user.

To switch between one and the other, click on the top of the Start interface, which shows two stars, one larger than the other both in the web version and in the applications. Once pressed, the application indicates how the ‘feed’ is being viewed at that moment.

The CEO of Twitter, Elon Musk, announced a few days ago a new way of navigation that would allow users to change the ‘feed’ between recommended and followed ‘tweets’, topics or trends, simply by swiping to the side. This Tuesday, in addition, he announced that this novelty would come into force throughout the week.

From the official Twitter Support account have announced now that users can “see the tweets they want to see” and that it has introduced two new tabs, ‘For you’ and ‘Following’.

These replace ‘Beginning’ Y ‘Latest’ and they will remain fixed at the top of the timeline. In this way, users will no longer need to touch the star icon, but only swipe the screen to change the timeline.

At the moment, this feature is only available on iOS devices and Twitter has not yet mentioned if or when it will also roll it out to Android and the web version.
