MADRID, 7 Feb. (Portaltic/EP) –
twitch has announced a new chat history that will collect the last messages published during a broadcast, with the aim of being able to know what has been discussed in it when the user joins later.
The chat history will show the last 50 messages either what has been written in the conversation in the last hourdepending on which shows fewer posts, as the company has reported on Twitter.
This history will allow a user catch up on what’s been talked about in a content creator’s chat before they join the broadcast.
Twitch has started rolling out chat history this Monday, so it may take a while few days to be available to all users.
📢 Starting today we’ll be rolling out Chat History for everyone!
Catch up with what’s happening on the channel – chat will load the last 50 messages or last hour of chat, whichever is less.
This rollout will happen over the next few days, don’t panic if you can’t see it yet 💜
