Turkish Trabzon receives the first Saudi charter flight

The Turkish state of Trabzon received, on Friday, the first charter flight (charter flights) coming from Saudi Arabia after a break due to the Corona pandemic.

Anadolu Agency reported that a passenger plane coming from the Saudi capital, Riyadh, landed at Trabzon Airport, carrying a convoy of 172 tourists.

Deputy Director of Culture and Tourism Mustafa Asan, and head of the Turkish Travel Agencies Association branch in the Eastern Black Sea region, Volkan Kantarci, presented flowers to some passengers and crew.

In a statement to reporters, the tourist Abdullah Samad expressed his happiness at coming to Turkey.

He said, “We love Trabzon very much and try to come to it every year, but we have not been able to come to it for 3 years.”

For his part, Kantarji said: “The state has received its first charter flight and direct flights will continue in the coming weeks.”

He pointed out that there has been a significant increase in the tourism potential of Trabzon and the Eastern Black Sea region in recent years.

Kantarji pointed out that the current tourist season is witnessing a heavy demand.

Trabzon, located in the Black Sea region of Turkey, is the most preferred destination for Arab and Gulf tourists in particular.

The city is famous for its wonderful tourist attractions and charming nature. It is also known for its high demand for real estate purchases, especially by Gulf tourists.
