Argentines are called to the polls on October 22 for legislative and presidential elections. The outgoing president, Alberto Fernandez (center-left), is not a candidate for re-election. His term will end on December 10. These elections come after the primaries of August 13 which made it possible to preselect the candidates who will be in the running next Sunday.
