The USA announced an additional 820 million dollars in security aid to Ukraine

The US Department of Defense has announced that it will provide Ukraine with $820 million in new security assistance, including its advanced missile system and high-performance artillery rocket systems (HIMARS), reports Anadolu Agency (.).

The new package includes additional ammunition for HIMARS, as well as two National Advanced Surface-to-Air Missile Systems (NASAMS), up to 150,000 rounds of 155mm artillery ammunition and four additional anti-artillery radars.

The total value of US aid to Ukraine since the Biden administration came to power has reached 7.6 billion dollars, of which 6.9 billion was sent after the start of the war with Russia on February 24.

Since 2014, the United States has allocated more than $8.8 billion in security assistance.
