The United States (US) embassy for Venezuela reported through an account on the social network X (formerly Twitter) that there is no change in immigration laws or border control in the US.
The clarification comes after a rumor spread that the possible government shutdown in the United States would allow migrants to enter the country.

In this sense, he indicated that migrants must continue scheduling appointments in the CBP One application to apply for asylum to that country through official mechanisms.
