The Supreme rejects all appeals against pardons of the ‘procés’ for lack of legitimacy

The Fifth Section of the Third Contentious-Administrative Chamber of the Supreme Court has concluded this Thursday the deliberation of the previous allegations formulated by the State Attorney in the contentious-administrative appeals filed against the Royal Decrees that granted pardons to those convicted for the ‘procés’ cause.

The Chamber has decided by majority to uphold the previous allegations in relation to the lack of active legitimacy in each and every one of the appeals filed.

The appellants are: Catalan Civic Coexistence; the leaders of Ciudadanos Inés Arrimadas, Carlos Carrizosa and José María Espejo-Saavedra; vox; PP; deputies and former deputies of the Parliament of Catalonia from the Popular Party Alejandro Fernández, Santiago Rodríguez, Andrea Levy, Juan Bautista Milian and Lorena Roldán; the former delegate of the Government in Catalonia Enric Milló; and the Pro Patrimonium Sijena and Jerusalem association.
