The Organizing Committee of the PP Congress in Madrid has chosen as the only candidate the current president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Diaz Ayusoto lead training in the region.
After the deadline for submitting applications, the Committee has adopted this decision at a meeting held at the headquarters of the Popular Party in Madrid. As there is only one candidacy, this Committee has determined that the acts of presentation of said candidacy to the affiliates can begin this Sunday, May 1.
It has also been decided that the Ifema of Madrid hosts the seventeenth Autonomous Congress that will take place on May 20 and 21. A total of 2,953 delegates will participate in this congress, of which 327 are ex officio, 2,616 elective and 10 from the Organizing Committee.
On the other hand, the image and slogan of the Congress have been decided, DESIRE It will be the motto under which both the Ayuso campaign and the Congress are carried out.
With this motto we want to show that on the one hand, “the desire of the PP in Madrid for the celebration of this Congress” and, on the other, that the Popular Party is a party “of victories, which aspires to continue increasing its electoral result” . “When the Popular Party governs in the Community, the people of Madrid win in freedom, they win in good management and they win in the future”, they have assured.
