The research data on the letters with pyrotechnic material Addressed, among others, to the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, they point out that the shipments were carried out from the province of Valladolid, according to what tax sources have informed Europa Press.
The Police sent this Friday afternoon a report to the Court of Duty in which it indicates that the authorship of the six packages seems to correspond to the same origin and that the origin would be the province of Valladolid.
At the moment, there is no person identified as possibly responsible and there is no action requested by the Police from the Court. Also, the police investigation does not yet focus on a specific hypothesisas stressed by tax sources.
The six packages, sent to authorities and institutions
The six letters with fireworks that were sent this Thursday were addressed to Pedro Sanchez, Daisy Robles waves Ukrainian embassies Y USA. Since then, the National Court has been investigating the sending of these envelopes, which have also been received by the Torrejón air base and an arms manufacturing company in Zaragoza.
Despite what was initially believed, it was not letter bombs, but of packages with a compound similar to “explosive” pyrotechnic material, that is, an artifact that produces a flare and not an explosion. One of these letters, the only one that has exploded, caused minor injuries to a worker from the Ukrainian diplomatic legation.
Packages with animal remains, in Spain and the EU
Just one day after these incidents, the Ukrainian embassy in Spain received a second package. On this occasion, it contained animal remains. Thus, this diplomatic headquarters was added to those of five other member countries of the European Unionwho received various “bloody packages” in just a few hours.
The Ukrainian government reported this Friday that this type of package -which did not contain pyrotechnic material- arrived at the country’s embassies in Spain, Hungary, the Netherlands, Poland, Croatia and Italy. Likewise, suspicious shipments were also registered in consulates of that country in Poland, the Czech Republic and Italy.
