In statements to the media after the opening ceremony of the judicial year, Llop has made it clear that he has not received any response from Feijóo, whom he has also asked to give the names “without conditions, as requested by President Lesmes, who has said that the Constitution must be fulfilled without conditions”.
Llop has referred to the speech by Carlos Lesmes, president of the CGPJ, at the opening of the judicial year, a harsh speech after which he has made it clear that he will resign if the CGPJ is not renewed.
About the announcement that Lesmes made in groups with journalists after his speech and in which he pointed out that he is willing to resign in the coming weeks if the Council is not urgently renewed, for which he has asked Pedro Sánchez and Alberto Núñez Feijóo to meet immediately, the minister has said that this situation would be “absolutely scandalous and would be due exclusively to the PP, which would cause President Lesmes to adopt this solution, which is personal.
