The judge allows skiing at the Navacerrada station this weekend

The Superior Court of Justice of Castilla y León has denied the precautionary measures requested by the Government to prevent the practice of skiing on the Segovian side of the Navacerrada station for this weekend, when the company intended to resume its activity.

The First Section of the Contentious-Administrative Chamber has thus responded to the request made by the National Parks Autonomous Organization, dependent on the Ministry for Ecological Transition, as part of an appeal filed against the Junta de Castilla y León, and on which background has yet to be resolved.

In the appeal, National Parks accused the autonomous government of leaving functions for not enforcing the order to dismantle the infrastructure and, given the announcement that the station would open this weekend, asked as a precautionary measure that such activity be not allowed in a land whose concession they consider expired.

In the absence of a resolution on the appeal and provisionally, the judge has denied this request by not appreciating the circumstances of special urgency with which they have been requested.
