The Spanish men’s handball team beat Slovenia this Friday (26-31) in the second day of the ‘Main Round’ of the World Championship, a victory that allows the ‘Hispanics’ to achieve the mathematical classification for the quarterfinals of the competition.
The ‘Hispanics’ remain unstoppable and undefeated on their way to the medals in this World Cup in Poland and Sweden, after beating a combative Slovenia in a ‘Main Round’ in which they remain leaders of Group I.
With an advantage that reached 6 goals in the second half, Jordi Ribera’s men confirmed their good form and play. A victory in which Gonzalo Pérez de Vargas stood out in goal and, in attack, Kauldi Odriozola and Dani Dujshebaev with 6 and 5 goals respectively.
