The Secretary of State for Relations with the Courts and Constitutional Affairs, Rafael Simancas, has wondered if the PP “seeks the end of European funds” by rejecting the energy saving plan decreed by the Government to fulfill the commitment it reached with the European Union to reduce energy consumption by 7%.
The high official of the Ministry of the Presidency has launched this question to the first opposition party through a message published this Wednesday on his Twitter account, collected by Europa Press – .
Specifically, Simancas reminds the PP that Europe agreed to provide Spain with 140,000 million euros in funds “for solidarity” to face the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic and that now the EU asks “energy savings from Spain for solidarity in Putin’s war” .
“The PP denies solidarity with Europe. What is the PP looking for? The end of European funds in Spain?” asked the Secretary of State for Relations with the Cortes and also a Socialist deputy.
