The Google Home ‘app’ implements support for the first-generation Nest indoor camera

Google has incorporated into the home appwhich manages connected devices in the home, support for the first-generation Nest indoor camera, so users can access an updated experience.

The Home application is currently undergoing open beta testing that allows participating users to manage different connected home devices from it, both from Google Nest and from compatible third-party firms.

This application has incorporated this Thursday the support for the first generation indoor Nest camerawhich came to the market in 2015as the company has reported in the Nest community forum.

The user may transfer this camera to the Home app from the Nest app, in a process that may take “a couple of weeks” as the company is slowly onboarding users. Once the process is complete, you will be able to access an updated experience about the history of the camera.
