The eviction company Detachmentdirected by the far-right Daniel Estevedeployed this Friday a tarp in Madrid against the former Catalan president Carles Puigdemont and current and past leaders of Podemos as Ione Belarra, Irene Montero, Pablo Iglesias and Juan Carlos Monedero. “We will continue cleaning the streets,” they say on the far-right company’s poster.
Placed on the facade of a building in the Luchana streetin the central area of Madrid, on the canvas you can see a photomontage of Puigdemont dressed in an orange prison jumpsuit and sitting on a prison bench with the number 155 on his chest, alluding to the article that was applied in Catalonia after the unilateral declaration of independence in 2017.
To the right of the former Catalan president they place Juan Carlos Monedero holding a ballot box like the ones used in the illegal referendum of October 1, while to the left the faces of Iglesias, Montero and Belarra appear.
At the top of the assembly you can see a flag of Spain and Daniel Esteve in front of the Congress of Deputies congratulating themselves on the company’s nine-year anniversary.
It is not the first banner that Desokupa has deployed in Madrid, since last July, in the middle of the electoral campaign, it hung one on Atocha Street against the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, where his face can be seen facing that of Esteve , with the motto “You to Morocco, Desokupa to Moncloa”.
