The Denmark-Spain Euro Cup brings together 1.6 million viewers, a new all-time high

The match between the Danish and Spanish teams for the European Championship on Saturday brought together 1,629,000 million viewers on TVE’s La 1, which represents a new historical audience record for women’s football in Spain, according to the network in a message on social networks.

“The women’s soccer team breaks a historical audience record on TVE’s La 1 in its match against Denmark with 1,629,000 viewers (18.5% screen share),” confirmed RTVE on Twitter.

The data is 200,000 more spectators than Germany-Spain, corresponding to the second day of the first phase of the Women’s European Football Championship in England and the only defeat of the national team in the tournament, with a screen share of 13.7 per cent and an average of more than 1.4 million viewers.
