The Armed Forces of Ukraine have assured this Tuesday in their latest report that they have seized 17 Russian tanks, 60 BMP-1, twenty-two units of armored combat equipment and eight units of automotive equipment.
“In the city of Boguchar, Voronezh region, between April 27 and May 2, 2022, seventeen tanks and sixty BMP-1s were seized,” the Ukrainian Army General Staff detailed in a message on its Twitter account. Facebook, adding that, during the hostilities, they have also intercepted seven ‘Orlan’ 10 and one ‘Forpost’.
They have also indicated that, in the separatist regions of Donetsk and Luhansk, six tanks, five artillery systems, twenty-two units of armored combat equipment and eight units of automobile equipment have been destroyed.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces have stressed that “the enemy is taking measures to replace significant equipment losses.” On the other hand, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Army has denounced that the Russian troops continue their offensive in the city of Kharkov and the surrounding settlements.
In Izium, the Russian Army has opened fire on units of the Ukrainian troops. In addition, in the separatist region of Donetsk, Russia tries to control the settlements of Rubizhne, Popasna, Liman and Slovyansk, according to data from the same report.
