The Government will approve this Tuesday the norm that guarantees the unemployment benefit for domestic workers. This was announced on Monday by the president Pedro Sanchez in Moncloa during an act in which he was surrounded by 50 citizens who had sent him their concerns and demands by letter. A new strategy that has also taken him out on the street to stop the hoaxes of the right. The political course had been initiated in previous years against IBEX-35 companies.
In the act, presented by the journalist Carme Chaparro, five people chosen from among the 50 attendees at the Palacio de la Moncloa during this Monday. The first was Almudena, a domestic employee in Tomelloso (Ciudad Real). “Our conditions must improve”, she has highlighted, while she has taken the opportunity to claim the right to unemployment. Precisely minutes later Sánchez’s announcement arrived. The Council of Ministers this Tuesday will approve that request.
Naiara, a student from Rivas VaciaMadrid, has expressed her concern about climate change. “We should make a safe bet on ecology and renewable energy“. Inés, a retired teacher from Córdoba, has demanded “security” for people pensioners.
“Many of our elders do not make it to the end of the month with what they receive,” he stated. Rafa, a teacher at an institute in Cullera (València), has asked to address a “crucial” issue for the health of young people, such as obesity. In fact, he has offered his educational center to implement concrete actions to improve this situation. Lastly, Mireia, from Santa Coloma de Gramanet (Barcelona) and a Law student, has also insisted on the consequences of climate change and in the fight for equality between men and women.
