Moscow confirms that its troops in Belarus carry out “intense combat training”

The Russian Government has branded this Monday as “unacceptable” the demand for the withdrawal of troops from Ukraine to start peace talks that put an end to the war unleashed on February 24 by the invasion order given by Russian President Vladimir Putin .
“These conditions are unacceptable,” said Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko. “Our president has repeatedly said that we are prepared to negotiate, but these negotiations must take into account the situation on the ground,” he explained.
Likewise, the Ministry of Defense has confirmed that the troops deployed in Belarus are carrying out “intense combat training” at facilities of the Belarusian Armed Forces, according to the Russian news agency Interfax.
“Classes on unit combat training and coordination are held day and night. At the training facility, military personnel from the Western Military District improve shooting, driving military vehicles, conduct a psychological course, and study medical skills. and other disciplines”, has detailed.
Ukraine has demanded on several occasions the withdrawal of Russian troops from the occupied territories in view of the start of peace talks, calls that have intensified due to the military advances obtained by the Ukrainian Army in recent weeks, especially in the Kharkov and Kherson.
