The torture committed by officials of the Strategic and Tactical Action Directorate (DAET) of the PNB were denounced by John Álvarez during his presentation hearing on September 4. García was able to see the report issued by the Bello Monte forensic doctor and assured that the document is “totally contrary” to the student’s sufferings, as it mentions that he is in “normal conditions” and only recognizes the injury to his leg and a flu condition. «The report says that everything is fine, except that it recommends that he be seen by a traumatology specialist for the leg, but it does not say anything else that it was torture. “It’s like a normal medical exam.”
