PSOE and ERC, with the support of Unidas Podemos, have agreed on a compromise amendment on the crime of embezzlement which contemplates penalties of one to four years in prison and special disqualification from two to six years for the diversion of public assets for a purpose other than that intended, that is, two years less than that contemplated for the maximum penalties in the current legislation.
