Problems in bank payment systems generated by a crash of the Redsys platform have been solved

The incident on the Redsys online payment platform that occurred this morning has been resolved after problems were reported in the banking systems in much of Spain.

The system outage, which began around 1 p.m. and lasted approximately one hour, has now been resolved as reported by Redsys on social networks.

“We inform that the payment service degradations of the last hour, exclusively linked to internal communication lines, have been resolved,” Redsys explained on the X social network.

The incident has affected ATMs, card machines, payments in stores or the Bizum service. Several users have warned about this problem through social networks and some financial institutions have informed their clients of the problem.
