The adviser to the Ukrainian Presidency, Mikhailo Podoliak, has assured that Russia “has already lost this war”, but has called on the international community to take measures aimed at “avoiding a repetition” of another invasion of these characteristics.
“After Ukraine liberates the territories and the defeat of the Russian Federation is officially formalized, everything possible must be done to prevent a repeat of Russian aggression,” Podoliak said on his official Twitter profile.
In this sense, the Ukrainian adviser considers that the main keys are the setting up of a special court that judges the crimes committed during the war; the application of sanctions to the aggressors; and the inclusion of Ukraine in the Atlantic Alliance.
In this way, Podoliak has once again reiterated the main demands formulated by Ukraine in recent months, whose main objective is both to punish Russia for the invasion, and to guarantee the security and defense of Ukraine in the future.
