This Thursday, Minister Vladimir Padrino López called Luis Almagro a hitman and declared enemy of Venezuela
The General in Chief Vladimir Padrino López, Minister of Defense, criticized the statements of the Secretary General of the OAS, Luis Almagro, for siding with Guyana in the dispute over Essequibo.

The senior official also said that Venezuela ratifies its Bolivarian position of peace diplomacy to provide a practical, peaceful and mutually accepted solution for the parties to the territorial controversy in accordance with the Geneva Agreement. Padrino stressed that the Agreement is the only way to resolve the conflict.
Padrino López and the High Command of the National Armed Forces (FAN) have indicated that they are ready for “the beginning of the national campaign in defense of the Essequibo territory.” At this point, the military minister maintained that the advisory referendum on December 3, “will be a vibrant, colorful, patriotic day of great national passion.”
For his part, the head of the Strategic Operational Command of the Armed Forces (Ceofan), General in Chief Domingo Hernández Lárez, said that in his statements about Venezuela’s conflict with Guyana, Luis Almagro “stutters one more primer of the imperial ABC, without possess not even the slightest idea of our roots and historical reasons for our territory.
Like Padrino López, the officer emphasized that “the historically accepted solution will only be through the mutually accepted obligation in the Geneva Agreement.”
