MADRID, Dec. 29 (.) –
Real Madrid recovered this Thursday all the internationals that were at the World Cup in Qatar with the incorporation of the Croatian Luka Modric and the Frenchmen Aurelien Tchouameni and Eduardo Camavinga, who finally entered the list of summoned for the visit of this Friday to Real Valladolid.
The three midfielders were the only ones left to join the Madrid team’s work dynamics after playing all seven World Cup matches, with Zadar finishing third and the two ‘bleus’ runners-up in the world.
“Those who have returned are fine, also those who have done so on Thursday. Modric, Tchoaumeni and Camavinga can play in Valladolid, but we have preferred to give them rest,” warned Carlo Ancelotti at the previous press conference.
However, the three entered the list of 23 called for the first league match, for which the only loss is that of striker Mariano Díaz. The squad is formed by Courtois, Lunin and Luis López as goalkeepers, Carvajal, Militao, Alaba, Vallejo, Nacho, Odriozola, Lucas Vázquez, Rüdiger and Mendy as defenders, Kroos, Modric, Camavinga, Valverde, Tchouameni and Ceballos as midfielders, and Hazard, Benzema, Asensio, Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo as strikers.
In any case, the Italian coach made it clear that he does not yet know how he is going to manage the minutes in this restart of the season. “Evaluating what is going to happen is complicated, our calendar demands a lot until March, with many games. We will evaluate each player individually,” he settled.
