Microsoft has submitted a new third-party ‘widget’ for Windows 11developed by Meta so that the users of its Messenger application can access the chats from the desktop of their computer.
Since November, developers can create ‘widgets’ for their applications in Windows 11, a novelty that Meta has taken advantage of to prepare one of these elements for its Messenger messaging service.
The Messenger ‘widget’ is currently available in a preview version in the Microsoft app storeas the company has reported in an update on pre-build 25284 from the Windows Insider Program.
This item will appear in the ‘Widgets’ panel in Windows 11, as a shortcut to conversations from Facebook and Instagram of the user.
