Marcelo signs for Olympiacos

The Brazilian left Real Madrid this summer after 16 seasons

MADRID, Sep. 3 (.) –

Brazilian left-back Marcelo Vieira Da Silva became a new Olympiacos player this Friday, three months after his dismissal from Real Madrid after 16 years in white.

The Greek team announced on its official website the arrival of a “football legend” after 12 midnight. So it was at Real Madrid a Marcelo who won 24 titles with the Madrid team, the player with the most trophies in the club’s history.

At 34 years old, Marcelo embarks on a new adventure in the Greek league, in an Olympiacos that will be the third team of his career, after leaving Fluminense for Real Madrid in 2006.
