Just three days before the Madrid municipal elections, Manuela Carmena has reappeared to cover the candidacy of Rita Master. As she did on April 19 at a Más Madrid event in Moratalaz, the former mayor has once again expressed her support for Maestre in the final stretch of this campaign. This time, through a video.
The clip includes a conversation between Carmena and the Más Madrid candidate for Mayor with the Palacio de Cibeles in the background, in which they remember the experience they shared during the years of municipal government, between 2015 and 2019.
“The important thing now is that everything goes well and you can be in front of the team with which to continue with the spirit of our Government”, Carmena tells Maestre. “It is evident that you are the one who knows what our government was and the one that the City Council really knows, and what some policies and others have been,” he says.
The PSOE candidate Reyes Maroto also suggested that Carmena would participate in one of her campaign events. But for now, it doesn’t look like that’s going to happen. Although the former mayor has encouraged and wished the best possible result for all the progressive formations in the capital.
