lenovo has announced four new laptop models from its line for ‘gamers’, the Legion 7 and 7i, designed for gamers who demand higher gaming performance, and the Legion Slim 7 and Slim 7ifor those who want to play but also use it for everyday tasks.
The Legion 7 and 7i integrate a 16-inch screen whose panel accepts three possible options: WQXGA (2560 x 1600) with 165Hz refresh rate, WQXGA (2560 x 1600) with between 165 and 240Hz variable refresh rate, and a miniLED WQXGA (2560 x 1600) with a refresh rate of 165Hz.
These new laptops incorporate the ‘software’ Tobi Horizonwhich promises a more immersive experience for gamers, and Tobii Awarewhich uses an intelligent sensor to improve user safety, privacy and well-being.
These computers can be configured with processors 12th Gen Intel HX Series or AMD Ryzen 6000HX. In addition, the equipment allows the user to choose between two graphics: the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti from Nvidia and the Radeon RX 6850m from AMD. Finally, they incorporate RGB lighting, a 99.99 watt/hour battery and FHD Webcam with noise cancellation software.
Both computers incorporate the Lenovo Legion AI (Artificial Intelligence) Engine 2.0, an engine that adapts to each game to try to offer the best performance by recalibrating itself in real time. In addition, its fan blades are 67 percent thinner than the previous generation.
The Legion Slim 7 and Slim 7i models also come with a 16-inch screen and a panel that supports the same three configurations as the Legion 7, sharing the same 99.99 watt-hour battery and the FHD Webcam with noise cancellation, but without RGB lighting.
The Legion Slim 7 and Slim 7i processors feature two choices for processors: 12th Gen Intel H Series or AMD’s Ryzen 6000HX. In addition, the user can choose between graphics cards GeForce RTX 3070 from Nvidia and Radeon RX 6800s from AMD.
The company has recalled that all its teams belonging to the Legion range incorporate a pre-installed application called Legion Sand that acts as a ‘hub’ to centralize all the user’s games, in addition to making a bridge with stores and ‘online’ platforms.
The Legion 7 and 7i are expected to be available this coming July. In the case of the first, at a starting price of 2,599 euros and, in the case of the other, 2,599 euros.
For its part, the Slim 7i will arrive a month earlier, in June, at a starting price of 1,999 euros. Finally, the Slim 7 will do the same in July with a price of 1,899 euros.
