“Barça will always be the property of its partners”

The president of FC Barcelona, Joan Laporta, has assured that there will be no problems to “register” “all the players” this season and that the “bad omens” have not come true, in addition to stressing that the club “will always be owned by its partners and associates” and that there is no danger of it becoming a public limited sports company (SAD).
“All the players will be able to register,” he declared at the traditional Fiesta de las Peñas prior to the dispute over the Joan Gamper Trophy. “All those who foresaw bad omens for our club did not gauge the strength of Barça and the importance of the Barça brand. We ignored them and dedicated ourselves to working to once again be a reference in the world of football. The world of football returns to look at Barça”, he added.
