The High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrellannounced this Wednesday in Strasbourg that the first objective it sets is “guarantee Ukraine’s victory in the war” so that “Russia does not achieve its objective of having control.”
In a press conference after the debate on the State of the Union, Borrell also stated that the next objective is “recalibrate rapprochement with China”. In that sense, he has announced that in mid-October she will travel to Beijing to establish a strategic dialogue with China and has emphasized that “the big problem” with China is the trade imbalance.
