MADRID, Oct. 30 (Portaltic/EP) –
HP has presented the latest addition to the range of Z workstations, which is called Z6 G5 A, a computer that supports up to three high-performance graphics cards and works with one AMD Ryzen Threadripper CPU.
The company has reported that the new HP Z6 G5 A has up to 96 cores in a single CPU and can be used for virtual production tasks, three-dimensional (3D) modeling and to manage advanced data sets.
This is possible thanks to the AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO 7000 Series WX unit that it integrates, as well as the possibility of having up to three Nvidia RTX 6000 Ada Generation GPUs or high-end AMD GPUs and eight memory channels to which it can give medium.
The company has also commented that, thanks to the design of the workstation, air flow is increased, ensuring heat dissipation even at maximum performance, while the intelligent fan control adjusts its speeds in real time. To do this, it uses more than 20 temperature sensors to maintain silent operation.
Likewise, HP has said that its new workstation is designed to offer all the power and components you need now with room to grow without slowdown. In fact, maximum expandability can be achieved with up to 6 slots PCIe and 12 NVMe SSDs.
This equipment has undergone 360,000 hours of MIL-STD testing, is certified for professional applications and has the security solution HP Wolf Security for Business.
Finally, the company has commented that the HP Z6 G5 A is expected to be available in December of this year, although it has not specified what its price will be. nor in which regions it can be purchased.
