Honor will present the Honor Magic 5 and Honor Magic Vs smartphones at MWC on February 27

Honor has announced that it will carry out its global presentation of the new terminals of the Honor Magic 5 series and Honor Magic Vs on February 27 in the framework of the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona.

The company has announced that, under the slogan ‘Unleash the Power of Magic’ (‘Unleash the power of magic’), it will present the characteristics of both products at this technology fair, in an event that will take place at 1:30 p.m. (mainland Spain).

The Magic 5 series succeeds the previous one, Magic 4, presented at the MWC last year. This featured a symmetrical design and used third-generation LTPO display technology, as well as a circular camera module.

The Chinese manufacturer has not given more information about its successor, but has only advanced folding specifications. In this case, Honor Magic Vs is the predecessor of Honor Magic V and it will be the first foldable to market outside of China.

According to Honor at the end of last November, this device, which presents a thickness of 12.3 mm and a weight of 261 grams, Withstands up to 400,000 folds thanks to its hinged design. This is the equivalent of more than ten years of use with approximately one hundred folds per day.

Boasting a 6.45-inch folded display, 21:9 aspect ratio, and 90 percent screen-to-body ratio, the phone also uses aerospace-grade materials and features a triple-camera system that includes an optimal 54 megapixel (MP) IMX800.

This device went on sale in China at the end of last year in the colors orange, blue and black, with a starting price of about 1,015 euros, approximately.
