Guayaquil: a bus is set on fire on the Trinitarian island

In the early hours of this January 9, several acts of violence were recorded in Ecuador due to the security crisis that the country is going through. Within this framework, a sector of Guayaquil on the Trinitarian island, south of the city, experienced a violent event as alleged criminals burned a bus in the Coop. Community Development causing alarm in the sector.

The sleeping residents woke up due to the roar and sound of the bus that was burning in flames. However, this criminal act has left no victims.

The Guayaquil Fire Department made an official publication rejecting the recent acts of vandalism.

“We condemn any form of violence and damage to property, as these actions go against the principles of peaceful coexistence and mutual respect.”
