MADRID, Jan. 1 (.) –

The Spanish center Willy Hernangómez participated this past dawn in the last performance of the 2022 New Orleans Pelicans, a clash that ended in defeat against the Memphis Grizzlies (116-101) and that did not have a Spanish duel due to the loss due to injury of Santi Aldama.

The duel for the top of the Western Conference of the NBA was left by the Tennessee franchise at FedExForum, with a small march from the beginning. Ja Morant (32 points) won the match against Zion
Williamson (20 points and 9 rebounds), with the support of Steven Adams (10 and 21) in a serious end to the game.

Gasoline failed there to some Pelicans who gave minutes to Willy, with 11 points and 7 rebounds, with personal fouls by Valanciunas and the loss of Larry Nance. The local team, bottom of the West, collapsed in the second quarter against the great game of Julius Randle (35 points) and Immanuel Quickley (25).
