MADRID, Oct. 19 (Portaltic/EP) –
Google has announced that it has introduced new effects on its Meet video calling platform for mobile devices, which will soon have an image editing format similar to the beauty filter.
The company has introduced portrait retouching in Meet, a feature that “allows you to slightly retouch” the appearance of speakers, as commented in an update shared through Google Workspace.
Specifically, the new functions of the video conferencing platform are brought together in two tweak modes: Subtle (subtle) and Smoothing (smooth). The first of them allows you to slightly erase certain facial imperfections, such as dark circles, and promotes whitening of the face and eyes. The other format, on the other hand, implements more intense changes or improvements.
Google has commented that this update “It has been highly requested” by its users, which has begun to implement it on mobile devices and hopes to bring this Google Meet function to the web at the end of 2023.
