Enríquez: “Decentralization is strategic for development”

Roberto Henríquez led an act in Nueva Esparta defended decentralization and proposed solving the water problem in the entity

Copei’s candidate for the primary, Roberto Enríquez, said from the state of Nueva Esparta that decentralization is the necessary step to get the country out of the crisis.

From an act in the state of Nueva Esparta, he highlighted his commitment to the rescue of decentralization as a strategic pillar for national development. “Health does not work, there is no water, there is no electricity, nothing works well in the regions. Centralism and socialism are the formula for disaster,” said the candidate for Copei.

He also asserted that centralism and the concentration of power made Venezuela sick. “The gigantism of the Venezuelan State has disrupted the country, we are obliged to reverse this disaster.”

On the other hand, he considered that to solve the water crisis in the entity, it is essential to build a third underwater aqueduct from Clavellinos to the island of Coche and Margarita. As well as maintaining the treatment plants.

Regarding the health crisis, he stressed that what is happening at the Luis Ortega hospital in Porlamar, “is extremely painful, I am not going to count how many babies have died, a single dead baby is already a tragedy,” sentenced Roberto Enríquez.
