The first vice president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, asserted that the government of the United States (USA) has not complied with anything agreed upon at the negotiation tables in Barbados. He stated that “those who are violating the agreements are the gringos and the Venezuelan opposition.”
“The United States government so far has not fulfilled anything it promised to fulfill,” he said on October 1 during his program Con el Mazo Dar, broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión (VTV). He added that “the licenses that he raised (the US) were given to Exxon Mobile and other companies, but that has nothing to do with us.”
