Buxadé (Vox) asks for prison for Puigdemont: “Little did they spy on you and persecute you”

MADRID, May 7. (EUROPE PRESS) –

The MEP and first vice president of Political Action of Vox, Jorge Buxadé, has requested this Saturday prison for the former Catalan president Carles Puigdemont who, in his opinion, was “little” persecuted and spied on, alluding to the espionage scandal with Pegasus and the claims now demanded by the independentists.

“You, to prison. Little did they spy on you and persecute you. Very little,” the leader of Vox wrote in a message that he published on his profile on the social network Twitter, citing a tweet from the former president of the Generalitat.

Buxadé reacted with these words to a publication by Puigdemont in which he assured that “these people” will “never” sit down, referring to the central Executive, at “no” Dialogue Table until it is to “decide the terms of the separation”.

In the same tweet, the independence leader has charged against those who have “raped” their lives and those of their families. “Wretched those who do it and those who justify it,” he has settled.

The Vox spokesman, Iván Espinosa de los Monteros, as well as those of the PP and Ciudadanos, have been satisfied with the explanations offered in Congress by the director of the National Intelligence Center (CNI), Paz Esteban, about espionage on politicians. independence supporters and have no doubts about the legality of their actions.

For Espinosa de los Monteros, Paz Esteban’s explanations have been “sufficient” and have made it clear to him that the CNI “acts in accordance with the law” and that it does not go “on its own”, but rather “fits into an institutional gear” . “What you have transmitted to us gives reason to increase confidence in the CNI,” he said.

For his part, Puigdemont reacted with these statements after the Official Secrets Commission: “It is clear that Spain is a state eaten up on all sides.”

“But they have violated her (her privacy). Spain is a threat to freedom; they are allowed to spy on my family and my collaborators just because my European freedom of action bothers them,” he criticized.
