Brazil overcame Bolivia with a double from Rodrygo

On date 1 of CONMEBOL – 2026 World Cup Qualifiers, Brazil achieved an overwhelming 5-1 victory against Bolivia and Rodrygo contributed two goals. The goals of the match for the local team were scored by Rodrygo (23′ 1T and 7′ 2T), Raphinha (1′ 2T) and Neymar (15′ 2T and 47′ 2T). While the visitor’s goal was scored by Víctor Ábrego (32′ 2T).

On the following day, Brazil will face Peru as a visitor and Bolivia will play the home game against Argentina.

With this result, the host accumulates 3 points throughout the competition and occupies the top of the table. For its part, the visit does not add up yet and is in ninth place.
