Atari recovers Akka Arrh, an arcade “too difficult” for gamers from 1982

MADRID, 8 Dec. (Portaltic/EP) –

Atari has announced Akka Arrh, an arcade shooter game that the company recovers from 1982, when after a small test it was concluded that it was “too difficult” for the players.

Akka Arrh will arrive early next year at PlayStation, Xbox, PC, Atari VCS and Nintendo Switch signed by developer Jeff Minter, as a “kaleidoscopic neon craze” that brings back the arcade experience.

This release follows a test carried out in 1982 of a prototype arcade machine that ended up being discarded because “players found the game too difficult”, as Atari collects in a press release.

Akka Arrh is an arcade shooting game, full of color and lights, that will encourage players to prevent enemies from penetrating the perimeter of a tower called the Sentinel. Includes two game modes and a total of 50 levelswhich can be played from the beginning or picked up from where you last left off.
