After the murder of 10 people in Canada last Sunday, a new case of multiple stabbings sets off alarms. On this occasion, this Thursday a 30-year-old man attacked different passers-by with a knife near the train station in the German city of Ansbach, in the south of the country, causing one death and two minor injuries.
Police were alerted after the first attacks. Upon his arrival, the aggressor tried to attack the officers who shot him, fatally wounding him.
Witnesses to the assault have assured the Police that the man shouted “Allahu Akbar” several times during the execution of the crime. The agents responsible for the investigation continue to check whether it is an act with an Islamist or terrorist background, as they have transmitted through a recent statement.
